Merchandise for The Muppets is starting to pop up all over the place! FAO Schwarz online has posted listings for four brand new Muppet puppets of Kermit the Frog, Fozzie Bear, Animal, and Beaker made by acclaimed plush company Gund, which has handled many of the recent Sesame Street plush as well. Each of the puppets is being sold for $19.99 and all four of them are available now! FAO also has a listing for a "Muppets Group T-Shirt" for $19.99, but no image of the shirt is available yet. Presumably it will pop up in the coming weeks, so keep your eye on The Muppet Mindset for more information!

Miss Piggy has returned to Disneyland in their nightly Halloween parade as part of the annual "Mickey's Halloween Party" event. Our favorite porcine diva acts as the grand finale of the parade, perched on the back of the final float in the procession with other Disney mega-favorites such as Donald Duck, Stitch, Chip, and Dale. Piggy is dressed to her Halloween finest (see picture at right) and our friends at ToughPigs have video of the parade! Check it out for yourself!

Speaking of Miss Piggy, Eric Jacobson was recently interviewed by Vanity Fair online to talk about Sesame Street's 42nd Season. He talks a lot about Grover, taking over from Frank Oz, and some about Miss Piggy and Fozzie. Unfortunately, the interviewer from Vanity Fair is mostly inept and obnoxious, asking questions that rational thinking people would know Eric couldn't answer. Thankfully and impressively, Eric maintains his cool completely and handles the interviewer extremely well. Kudos to Eric for maintaining the integrity of his characters!

Entertainment Tonight spotlighted The Muppets on Tuesday night, where they showed a behind the scenes video featuring singing, dancing, and making people happy, plus some incredible looking scenes from the movie. One of the hosts of the show also interviewed Kermit about the movie and some other promotional work he's doing. You can watch the video of both below!

Thanks to Muppet Musings for the videos!

I agree 100%! That interviewer acted like a jackass.

And Ryan, in Disneyland, the name is "Mickey Halloween Party" The "Not-so-scary" name is only from Walt Disney World. :)
