It's Time to Get Things Started on The Muppets... Again

Yesterday Ricky Gervais, recently revealed as the human lead in the upcoming new Muppet movie, which is tentatively titled The Muppets... Again, tweeted two very exciting things for Muppet fans. First off, he tweeted this:

Still can't believe I start filming a lead role in The Muppet Movie next week. I have loved those little guys for over 30 years. Buzzing.

So, that confirms that filming on The Muppets... Again finally begins next week in London! Unbelievable. Considering that The Muppets came out in US theaters just over a year ago, it's beyond amazing that filming is already about to start on the next theatrical release? Incredible. Totally incredible.

Ricky also tweeted this fantastically fun picture of him with Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy:

So... Ricky has met and made awesome faces with the Muppets, confirmed that filming begins next week, and overall made this Muppet fan very, very happy.
