WHO IS TOPO STICKY?
Topo Sticky is a gimmick act of Pepe the King Prawn's which he debuted on Muppets.com a few years ago as part of an impression sketch where Topo demonstrated his impersonations of Kermit the Frog, The Great Gonzo, and Miss Piggy. By the end of the video, Topo had taken on a life of his own, which would become another part of his stick shtick.
In another video Pepe reappeared with Topo Sticky at his side as Topo explained why Pepe was the most amazing persons in the whole world. ("It's a fact--it's in the Library of Congress!") However, when Pepe left to go wash his hands, Topo once again spoke to the camera on his own, revealing that he was truly portrayed by an actor named Duke Remington, who reminded us of the dangers of dirty popsicle sticks in our homes. Possibly the most well-received Public Service Announcement of 2008.
The most recent video that Topo Sticky has appeared in was on one of the Secret Elevator Tapes where he told Pepe that he was splitting away from the act thanks to the name he had made for himself and the connections he had cultivated in the industry. Once Pepe discovered Topo Sticky was stealing his act by starting his own "Pepe Sticky" act, Pepe was quite perturbed. However, Pepe Sticky himself usurped the stick stickler and got his own network show thanks to the help of his agent Bernie (who mysteriously called Pepe Sticky on real Pepe's cell phone). Thankfully, by the end, Topo Sticky and Pepe had made amends.
WHY DO THE MUPPETS NEED TOPO STICKY?
Who else is going to reaffirm Pepe's ego--especially in the voices of the other Muppets? He'll never have to fake his way through a job interview again! (You know, except when he fakes his way through buy using Topo Sticky.)

Maybe Topo can get Pepe a part in that new Muppet Movie I hear is happening without him...*eyebrow raise and over-the-glasses-look*
