There has been so much impeccable, quality Muppet stuff all over the place lately that it has been nearly impossible to keep up. So, any time I've needed to catch up on what I've missed (which is surprisingly often), I check the YouTube account of our good friend Matt over at MuppetMusings. Matt has an incredible knack of getting video from nearly everywhere on the internet, including some exclusive video from Disney.com and other hard-to-capture sites. Check out some of the incredible videos from MuppetMusings below!
First up is a clip from last night when Kermit the Frog appeared in Washington D.C. at the National Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, where he assisted President Obama and the First Family in lighting the National Christmas Tree. America's favorite amphibian also joined First Lady Michelle Obama for a reading of the classic Christmas story "Twas the Night Before Christmas." This video streamed live last night and, somehow, MuppetMusings captured it!
Our good friends at Fandango.com recently sat down with an interview with our other good friends Jason Segel, Walter, James Bobin, Amy Adams, Kermit the Frog, and Miss Piggy. The gang gets to have some fun talking with the Fandango guy... and Walter has some fun saying the word "cinema."
Cineplex.com has a fantastic interview with Jason Segel and Kermit the Frog. I really like the way this interview was edited with interspersing clips from The Muppets and the background music pulled straight from the numerous trailers is an added treat. Plus... popcorn.
The Muppets recently appeared on Good Morning America to promote The Muppets and performed "Mahna Mahna" on Times Square. This clip, previously only available on ABC.com, was snagged by Muppet Musings and put on YouTube. So enjoy a fantastic performance of this classic song featuring Kermit, Miss Piggy, Gonzo, Camilla, and the Snowths!
Our final video from MuppetMusings is this montage of clips from Jim Henson's life and career that was shown during the Disney Legend's Ceremony at the 2011 D23 Expo this past August. I have no idea how MuppetMusings got their hands on such a high-quality copy of this... but boy, am I glad they did. This montage is fantastic and so much fun. Enjoy it!
Finally, in official video from The Muppets Studio news, this fantastic 17-second TV spot shouts a lot about how The Muppets is the NUMBER ONE comedy in America!! The reason we show this one off is because we want to remind you all (as if you could forget) to go see The Muppets this weekend and help propel the movie to NUMBER ONE overall! So go get your tickets, enjoy some popcorn, and have fun!

In response to the Jim Henson tribute montage; the Jim Henson Company posted the full Henson-related portion of the ceremony with a HQ version of the montage. MuppetMusings edited it from that.
